2024 NG PRODUCTION FREEZE-OFFS UPDATE January 23, 2024
The 1-15-day weather forecasts for January 23rd have gotten warmer compared to January 22nd. Lower 48 natural gas production freeze-offs are now estimated to be 51.9 Bcf compared to 49.8 Bcf for yesterday to account for lingering post freeze-off production losses in North Dakota, Wyoming, Haynesville, and the Northeast.


The table below shows the actualized production freeze-offs by sub-region. North Dakota, Wyoming, Haynesville, and Northeast production freeze-offs continue to linger.

Crude oil production freeze-offs are revised higher from yesterday to account for lingering production freeze-off losses in North Dakota.
