The 1-15-day weather forecasts for January 11th have gotten colder compared to January 10th. Natural gas production freeze-offs as a result are revised higher form yesterday. Most of the revised higher production freeze-offs are coming from the Northeast, but all the sub-regions were also revised higher from yesterday. South Texas is now the newest sub-region to likely join the natural gas production freeze-off club. Total Lower 48 natural gas production freeze-offs are now estimated to be 75.5 Bcf for January-2024 compared to 53.3 Bcf for yesterday.
