2024 NG PRODUCTION FREEZE-OFFS UPDATE January 21, 2024
The 1-15-day weather forecasts for January 21st have gotten slightly warmer again compared to January 20th. Lower 48 natural gas production freeze-offs are now estimated to be 48.0 Bcf compared to 48.9 Bcf for yesterday.


The table below shows the actualized production freeze-offs by sub-region. North Dakota production freeze-offs continue to come in higher than expected.

Crude oil production freeze-offs are revised back down from yesterday due to warmer North Dakota weather forecasts in late January compared to yesterday.
