Blackcomb Pipeline Update 10-16-2026

Blackcomb pipeline has received the final air quality permit for the last of their compressor stations near Uvalde, Texas. However, though Synmax Vulcan shows other stations essentially complete, this one indicates no work at all, indicating that commercial operations at full capacity will certainly be delayed. The pipeline has been expected to come online in either Q3 2026 or Q4 2026. Hyperion’s long-term production forecast has been holding an October 1, 2026, online date.

Blackcomb Pipeline is a 366-mile intrastate pipeline transporting 2.5 Bcf/d of natural gas from the Permian Basin to the Agua Dulce, Texas hub market, providing direct access to South Texas markets. An approximate 80-mile, 42-inch lateral line will also provide connectivity for gas processors in the Midland Basin. Devon Energy (DVN), Diamondback Energy (FANG), and others have committed capacity on Blackcomb, underscoring strong E&P demand for egress.
