Last week, Vulcan UC identified three projects initiating land clearing, all in Texas. We've highlighted two wind projects below. These projects represent contrasting timelines: one is expected to come online earlier than the EIA projection, while the other is expected to be later.
The Hart Wind project is already listed as under construction by the EIA, but we only recently observed land clearing. The La Casa Wind project, however, is not currently listed as under construction by the EIA and is still in the regulatory approval phase. Despite this, our observation of land clearing suggests that the project may have secured necessary approvals.
Vulcan UC leverages visual confirmation to provide a clear, objective view of project status. We build on this visual intelligence by developing online schedule and project ranking systems to enable the creation of intelligent generation stack outlooks.
