Vulcan IW (Infrastructure Watch) is designed to observe changes in infrastructure resulting from natural or human events. The use of satellite observations is growing, and we believe these use cases demonstrate the capabilities for future applications. Vulcan IW does not provide an assessment of actual damage; rather, our 3-meter resolution imagery allows us to detect and indicate the high-level extent of changes. For instance, regarding the attacks in Iran this past weekend, we observed changes in imagery at two out of three sites, indicating some impact.
