Ground Truth: Assessing Gulf Energy & Tech Infrastructure After Retaliatory Strikes - Vulcan Infrastructure Watch

Following coordinated US-Israeli strikes on Iran, Tehran launched retaliatory drone and missile strikes across the Gulf, targeting US bases, allied infrastructure, and energy facilities. While various media outlets have reported extensive damage, much of the actual impact remains speculative.

We are providing medium-resolution imagery (3m) to allow for a direct assessment of the ground truth. Based on our current visuals, it is clear that these strikes do not represent a "scorched earth" response. While some damage may fall below the detection threshold of this resolution, any such impacts appear manageable - especially when contrasted with the more catastrophic scenarios being described elsewhere. Visual confirmation remains the most reliable metric for determining actual operational downtime.

Of the four locations included in this report, the most significant finding was observable image change to the roof of an AWS data center in the UAE. After receiving reports of an incident, we utilized our imagery to verify the claim. While the facility was certainly not "scorched to the ground," there is a clear, visible impact on the roof structure.
