TETCO Force Majeure & Hurricane Isaias

TETCO Force Majeure Update

Texas Eastern Pipeline (TETCO) updated the status of the force majeure between the Tompkinsville and Danville compressor stations on Line 15 Valve Sections 2 – 4 in Kentucky. TETCO anticipates bringing Line 15 back online and returning to service during the first week of November. This will extend the roughly 0.5 Bcf/d Northeast production drop from the force majeure, which restricts flows from North to South, into the first week of November 2026.

Hurricane Isaias

At the same time, Hurricane Isaias in the Gulf of America has thus far caused about 0.9 Bcf/d of production to be temporarily shut in. Production should begin to recover by the weekend or Monday next week.
