Warning - this is an implementation detail that will only affect you if you get data from the API. If you use Energy Dashboard, this will be seamless to you.
In all of our references to operator names, we have had two ways to refer to operators for which there is no information: a blank string, or NULL, with most being NULL. This stemmed from differences in data collection and processing mechanisms. Conceptually these are identical, however, to most systems, these appear different.
We will be rolling out a change next week, Wed, 29 Oct, and standardizing all missing operator names to NULL.
