Natural Gas
Using the latest 12Z GFS Operational weather forecast going out to March 6th, 2025, there is the potential for natural gas production freeze-offs in North Dakota, the Northeast, Oklahoma, Permian, and Haynesville.  For the 12Z GFS Operational weather forecast, the total amount of natural gas production freeze-offs is 18.4 Bcf, 0.7 Bcf higher than yesterday’s forecast.





Crude Oil
Using the latest 12Z GFS Operational weather forecast going out to March 6th, 2025, there is the potential for crude oil production freeze-offs in North Dakota, Oklahoma, and Permian.  For the 12Z GFS Operational weather forecast, the total amount in crude oil production freeze-offs is ~2.09 million barrels, 35k barrels higher than yesterday’s forecast.
