Based on today’s (2/04) GFS Operational 12Z, total natural gas freeze-offs during the 01/22 through 02/19 time period are expected to be at 59.8 Bcf, roughly unchanged from yesterday’s (2/03) 59.6 Bcf. At this time, we are taking out the upper range as we are ruling out the possibility of high-power outages in the Northeast.
The 59.8 Bcf is forecasted with minimal power outages. Today’s freeze-off report will be the last update until Monday, unless there is a significant change in the weather forecasts.
Actualized production freeze-offs from 01/20-02/04 have come in at 55.4 Bcf.
