Based on today’s (1/24) GFS Operational 12Z, total natural gas freeze-offs during the 01/22 through 02/08 time period are expected to be between 41.4 Bcf to 98.1 Bcf, down from yesterday’s (1/23) 47.3 Bcf to 120.8 Bcf range.
The low end of the range (41.4 Bcf) is forecasted with minimal power outages in the Permian and Northeast.
The high end of the range (98.1 Bcf) is forecasted with significant power outages in the Permian and Northeast.
At this time, we lean towards the lower end of the range, as power outages are currently at a minimum.
