The Northeast has been more resilient to production freeze-offs than historical relationships of weather to production freeze-offs have indicated even going back to last winter. There should’ve been some production freeze-offs today in the Northeast based on today’s Pittsburgh temperatures. However, we have not seen any production freeze-offs based on today’s daily Northeast pipeline production scrape data. The Permian also may see lower freeze-offs than expected as Chevron has been talking about winterizing their wells in the Permian. Therefore, we expect to see lower than market expected freeze-offs based on today’s 12z GFS and Euro weather forecast data.
